Formatting Your Advert

So, like I said, there’s a few features to make your life easier inside the advert.

First up, the editor is exactly that: an editable advert.

We get it, our adverts aren’t a one-size fits all kind of thing, there are probably going to be a few little tweaks you’d like to change.

That said, we do advise that you don’t change the advert text too much as it’s been generated as a fully-optimised advert.

This means that it uses a formula that’ll get it to sit at the top of every job board.

Warning given, you can – in reality – do whatever you’d like!

Undo and Redo

We all make mistakes.

You might end up accidentally changing something that you didn’t want to change.

Don’t stress, it’s not the end of the world.

buttons to quickly reverse or reapply a change you’d just made.

Text Formatting

Sometimes you’ll want to underline, bold or italicise your key words.

I do it all the time.

It adds a bit of tone to your text and can make it more enjoyable for your reader.

It can also make the text easier to read.

If you’d like to add formatting to your text, all you need to do is highlight the words you’d like to apply the changes to and click one of these buttons:

‘Bold’

‘Underline’

‘Italics’

To remove the changes, just highlight the text and click the relevant button again.

Or, if you’ve just applied the change, click the ‘Undo’ button.

Lists

AdBuilder already uses premade lists in a few of the adverts, but if you’d like to create your own then you absolutely can do!

To do so, just highlight the text you’d like to turn into a list and click the

Please Note: To add a new point in the list, you have to click the enter button (line return).

To remove a list, highlight the text again and click the relevant list button or if you’ve just applied the change then you can click the ‘Undo’ button.
